Richard is CEO of Executive Search at MDR Mayfair.
Richard founded Charles Park Search & Selection in 2002 where he developed a strong relationship with Mishcon de Reya LLP – assisting them with multiple key partner hires. Richard has over 20 years’ experience in the private client recruitment market, as well as working with sovereign funds, single and multi-family offices, some of the world’s leading onshore and offshore law firms, accountancy firms, private banks and trust companies.
Richard has a global client base and a global reputation due to his specialist insight into the UK, Channel Islands, Switzerland, Monaco, Hong Kong, Singapore, Middle East, Bermuda, BVI and Cayman Islands.
Richard has advised on multiple key partner level recruitment, team hires, firm M&A and law firm creation. He has also worked alongside private clients on the creation of new teams for asset management operations. He has personally worked on tech start-up businesses, as well as advising tech entrepreneurs on key company hires from board creation through to key CTO hires for platforms.
Richard also assists with placing board observers and non-executive directors.
Richard is the CEO of a legal tech platform called Legal Target. Over the years he has developed an interest in cyber security and compliance, typically a key concern to families. He is a director of an international symposium on economic crime linked to Cambridge University.
